Eniwaye’s paintings focus on faces and stories where figuration meets expression. They start in memory: old photos of family and friends. And then take shape with fragments only he sees, building a psychological world that feels both personal and alive. Bold colours and thick brushstrokes give his work weight, texture and presence. His process combines unusual colour mixes and techniques, always searching for a fresh way to show identity and its many layers. The paintings reflect deep struggles but also hope, inviting you to connect with stories of change and belonging.

Eniwaye Oluwaseyi (1994) began painting during his studies in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, learning through YouTube tutorials. Over time, he combined traditional portrait techniques with his own experiments to create a style that balances presence and absence, form and feeling. Working mainly in oil, he builds up textured layers that reveal sculptural and luminous qualities. His work explores identity, social change, and the spaces we share. Questions that remain close to him and his community.
