Koos Buster’s Art Hunt

Koos Buster’s works are waiting to be discovered, hiding in corners, peeking from walls, sometimes almost invisible. They carry his bubbly, playful style. At first glance, they blend in. But if you look closely, you realize they’re not real.

For this hunt, Koos takes on the role of Minister of Ceramic Affairs. In his “Cabinet of Calamities,” he created objects that protect against unexpected mishaps: strange disasters like fire or other calamities. They look ordinary, but there’s always a twist.

The treasure hunt turns the museum into an interactive adventure. Kids move from room to room, spotting Koos’s pieces and connecting with art in a playful, hands-on way.

At the end of the trail, a small reward awaits for the kids, a little surprise for those who complete the hunt.

Pick up your booklet at the entrance and start your treasure hunt. Good luck!

About Koos Buster

Koos celebrates what others might ignore. A plate of risotto. An overturned scooter. A water cooler that actually works. Koos recreates them in clay, life-sized, lumpy and full of character. His work feels both silly and sincere. That balance is key. He’s not trying to fool you with realism. Koos is asking you to look again.

What a fantastic opening!
